An internationally certified three-year professional training course for Alexander Technique teachers
Alexander Technique Training Aotearoa
The Alexander Technique is an educational process for improving the way we move, think and act. It involves learning to notice and change habits that interfere with effective and efficient movement and expression. Through a teacher’s verbal, visual and hands-on guidance, the student of Alexander Technique learns to bring about change to potentially harmful and largely unconscious habits. Benefits of practicing the technique include improved coordination, poise and relief of pain caused by misplaced tension and postural stress.

The Technique is taught primarily in private lessons as each individual’s habits are unique and must be addressed in a unique way within the framework of the Technique.
